Bullet Seed is a Grass-type Physical Move in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet that has its Pokémon attack a target two to five times consecutively. However, not of the blows are guaranteed. More specifically, there is roughly a 38% chance of two or three strikes landing. This percentage decreases to approximately 13% for the possibility of landing four to five strikes on a single opponent. Accordingly, the game’s RNG will determine whether this attack is effective. As a result, it is undoubtedly a poor choice for PvP battles, but Trainers might find use for this ability in PvE combat against Water-, Ground-, and Rock-type pocket monsters.
Unlocking the Bullet Seed TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The open-world map of Paldea features several spots where Trainers are guaranteed to find the Bullet Seed TM in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If players are trying to get this Grass-type Physical Move early on in their playthrough, they can find this TM less than a minute’s stroll from the East Gate of Mesagoza.

Based on gameplay by YouTube content creator RandomRam, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Trainers can discover the Bullet Seed TM by first exiting Mesagoza into Area Three of the South Province via the city’s West Gate. From the gate’s entrance, they must then travel north and drop two levels into the small gorge with an arrow sign and a Wild Nacli. They must continue down the path to the left of the sign until they encounter another similar-looking arrow sign. From here, they must turn into the ravine opposite where the arrow is pointing.
Continue traveling through the narrow path and wind around to the right to find a small tunnelway. Go through the tunnel to find a small patch of grass and two dead bushes on the left. Investigate the yellow Poké Ball between the plants to find the Bullet Seed TM in Scarlet and Violet. Another spot where players can find this TM is the Asado Desert, in the area near the North Cascarrafa Pokécenter. To craft the Bullet Seed TM, Trainers will need Hoppip Leaves and Sunkern Leaves. Hoppip can be found in the grassy areas south of Mesagoza in the South Province. Likewise, Sunkern can also be found around Los Platos but appears in fewer places.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are available on the Nintendo Switch.
