In this guide, you’ll learn how to get Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They are scattered all over Paldea and are exclusive to Scarlet.
Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon are three of the exclusive Pokémon available in the Scarlet edition. They are some of the most powerful Pokémon we can get for our competitive battles in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Given this case, in this entry of our guide, we want to show you the locations of these three Pokémon in Paldea and how you can capture them for your Pokédex.
If you play in the Violet version, you will have to receive Deino, Zweilous, and Hydreigon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet by exchange with another player who has it. This is the only way to get them in this edition.
Deino is a Pokémon of the type Sinister and Dragon that is only available exclusively to capture in Paldea through the Scarlet edition.
How to get Zweilous in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Zweilous is the first direct evolution of Deino. It is also a Sinister and Dragon-type Pokémon that is only available exclusively to capture in Paldea through the Scarlet edition. You can get it, for example, by evolving Deino when it reaches level 50.
These are the zones and areas of the world where Zweilous appears:
- Area Zero
- Napada Mountains
- Area 2 (North)
Note that the primary biome of Zweilous is the cave and underground, so it can also be found in wild appearances of this type. Other than that, there are no other conditions to find him. He can appear at any time of the day and in any weather.
On the other hand, Zweilous can also be found randomly in Teraincursions of 4-star difficulty.
How to get Hydreigon?
Hydreigon is the last evolution of Deino. It is also a Sinister and Dragon-type Pokémon that is only available exclusively to capture in Paldea through the Scarlet Edition. There are only a few methods to get Hydreigon in your game:
You can get Hydreigon by evolving a Zweilous when it reaches level 64.
Alternatively, you can capture Hydreigon by randomly encountering it in Teraincursions of 5 and 6-star difficulty.
You can’t catch Hydreigon in the wild, so it has no habitats and locations where it appears wild to catch.
As you can see, the only way to get a specimen of Hydreigon is by evolution or by capture in Teraincursions (apart from by exchange, naturally). The good news is that it evolves simply by reaching level 64, so getting it is really not very complicated. Getting it will guarantee you one of the best Pokémon of these editions.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is available on Nintendo Switch.
