However, there is no precise location where you can get Dimeritium Plate in the game. You can scavenge dead bodies throughout the vast-open world, but there is no guarantee you will find this valuable item. Moreover, you can loot chests to increase your chances of finding the needed crafting material.
However, there is one trick you can use in the game. You can craft the item by using two Dimeritium Ingots. This material is more frequent and is obtainable through dead bodies, by disassembling weapons, or it can be looted from chests.
You only need two Dimeritium Ingots to craft Dimeritium Plate. Head to the ‘Crafting Components’ tab in the crafting menu, select two Ingots, and you will have what you need.
Where to Buy Dimeritium Plate in Witcher 3?
If you don’t want to waste your time searching for Dimeritium Plate, you can buy it from most master armorers and master blacksmiths. However, the item costs a pretty penny and will take away all your hard-earned Crowns.
If you want Dimeritium Plate in Witcher 3, you will need to cough up 4,000 Crowns.
On the other hand, there is a merchant in Kaer Trolde who always has Dimeritium Ingots on him, five of them, whenever you visit him. How he got them, who knows. The Ingots cost half of the price you pay for the Dimeritium Plate. You can then use the Ingots to craft the Plate.
