In Dungeonborne, there are a variety of rare items that always appear on the map, like the elusive Divine Sword Fragment and, by extension, the Divine Crown Fragment, too. Like its divine counterparts, the Divine Sword Fragment is singularly linked to Heirlooms, specifically a powerful sword, the Divine Sword. It’s a pretty good weapon too, and most classes will want to use it, but first, knowing how to get the Divine Sword Fragment in Dungeonborne.
What is Divine Sword Fragment Used For? Explained
Crafting is an essential part of Dungeonborne, allowing you to create some decent starter gear, a baseline of sorts, called Heirlooms. One of the best Heirloom items in the game is the Divine Sword, a legendary one-handed weapon that grants bonus damage and 75% bonus experience.
However, the blacksmith at the camp won’t craft a Divine Sword until you’ve brought him a Divine Sword Fragment. Sadly, that doesn’t mean he’ll craft it, only that the recipe becomes available. The recipe calls for Mithril Tokens and Star Fragments, which you can get from quests and breaking down gear, respectively.
How to Get a Divine Sword Fragment in Dungeonborne
In the whole of things, getting the Divine Sword Fragment in Dungeonborne requires that you do the following:
- Obtain a Divine Crown Fragment, then craft the Divine Crown.
- Obtain a Moon Pendant Fragment, then craft a Moon Pendant.
- Wear both the Divine Crown and the Moon Pendant while to unlock the Floral Chest in Sinner’s End.
Before we start, stick to the main hub of the game, at camp and check out the moon in the background. Is it a full moon? Every 24 hours, the moon will be full, and when that happens, immediately go to the Training Room.
Enter the temple to your left and head straight into the main hall, to the broken statue of an angel over an altar. If you look up, you can see the moon’s current cycle. When that moon is full, pray to the light that appears at the altar and the Moon Pendant Fragment is yours.
As for the Divine Crown Fragment, you’ll get those in Sinner’s End, casual or classic. Hand altars spawn throughout the map, which you pray at. One will always have a Divine Crown Fragment to grab.
With the Divine Crown and Moon Pendant crafted, go back into Sinner’s End and travel towards the bottom of the map (I’ve marked it in my screenshot).
The Floral Chest there will only open if you’re wearing the Divine Crown and Moon Pendant. It’ll destroy the items, but in return, the chest will give you a Divine Sword Fragment.
