Every two weeks in Warframe, you get a chance to buy some of the most significant account-boosting items in the game through the in-game Void Merchant, Baro Ki’teer. However, Baro doesn’t care how much Platinum you have, for he mostly accepts gold. Ducats, with a capital D. If you want Baro to notice you, you have to have either those golden Prime Warframes and weapons or Orokin Ducats. Here’s how to get Ducats in Warframe to up your bling.
Where to Get Ducats in Warframe
There’s really only one place where you can get Orokin Ducats in Warframe — the Ducat Kiosks in relays Baro visits every two weeks. He usually visits these relays below, and you can also find the Ducat Kiosks there near the spot where Baro appears.
- Larunda Relay, Mercury
- Strata Relay, Earth
- Kronia Relay, Saturn
- Orcus Relay, Pluto
Baro will send an email to your inbox whenever he visits, though you don’t have to wait for him to access those Ducat Kiosks.
As for what to exchange Orokin Ducats with, that would be none other than Prime Parts. You’re practically selling Prime Parts in exchange for Orokin Ducats, so you can buy mods, cosmetics, weapons, and other stuff from Baro.
Fastest Way to Get Ducats in Warframe
As expected, you have to farm Prime Parts if you want Orokin Ducats. We have two methods for farming Prime Parts for Ducats, and both of them are fast.
- Method 1: Run a Void Fissure Capture Mission in a group. Bring a Warframe like Titania or Wukong to finish it faster. Rinse and repeat as long as the Capture mission is available and as long as you have Relics to crack open for Prime Parts.
- Method 2: Just buy Prime Parts from other players using Platinum. A lot of busy players do this in an emergency scramble to get as many Ducats as they can on Baro’s arrival, especially if he has good items. “Trash” Prime Parts usually sell for 1-2 Platinum per part. It’s usually two Platinum for each part if Baro is just a few hours away or is already present.
In the meantime, if you want to hold on to your Platinum, you can just farm the Prime Parts to sell for Ducats. Do be wary of what you sell for Ducats in the Kiosks, however, as some Prime Parts (such as the rare blueprints for Prime Warframes) can be worth more in Platinum or if you want to craft that Warframe or weapon.
