Lotad, Lombre, and Ludicolo are some of the most famous tri-evolution lines in the history of the Pokemon video games. Besides Ludicolo’s goofy look, it is a powerful water Pokemon that players will always be happy to have on their team. The famed trilogy returns in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask, so we want to show you how to get and evolve Lombre in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.

Lombre evolves from Lotad, who can be found in most of the same places that Lombre can be located in, such as the direct north of the Kitakami map or all the way to the lower southwest. Regardless, we were able to locate the Lotad just northwest of Mossfell Confluence, another area where you can also encounter a Lotad. Once you finally capture one, it will be registered in your Dex as number 105 just after Lotad and before Ludicolo. Evolving Lotad into Lombre just requires the Pokemon to be at level 24, but how do you evolve Lombre into Ludicolo?

How To Evolve Lombre The Teal Mask

In order to evolve Lombre into Ludicolo, you need to introduce it to a Water Stone. If you don’t already have a Water Stone in your inventory, finding one is pretty easy. Just use any of the following methods:

  • Catch and register 80 Pokemon in the Paldean Pokedex.
  • Purchase one from Delibird Presents shops in Cascarrafa, Levincia, and Mesagoza for 3,000 coins.
  • You can find it as a shining object on the ground behind the Cascaraffa Gym.
