While Pokemon Scarlet and Violet offer players hundreds of unique Pokemon to catch, the new The Teal Mask DLC exists to expand your Pokedex even more. After all, going to the new Kitakami region, you can get 200 new Pokemon, and Mienfoo is one of them. This little Gen 5 Ferret Pokemon is a powerful ally in battles against Bug, Rock, and Dark-type Pokemon. In addition, by improving its combat skills, Mienfoo can evolve into Mienshao, acquiring new movesets and increasing its stats. Let’s go over how to find and evolve Mienfoo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask.

To find and catch Mienfoo in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask, you must go to the Kitakami region and search the central and western areas. The best solution is to explore the small zone between Katakami Hall, Crystal Pool, and Mossui Town. In addition, you should know that Mienfoo is found not only in green glades but also in caves. So, to get your first Mienfoo as quickly as possible, you should visit the cave northwest of Katakami Hall. You’ll find the entrance on the side of a cliff, but the image above will help you if you get lost.

Once you have found Mienfoo, you can challenge him. Using Quick Ball gives you a high chance of adding this Pokemon to your collection without a fight. But you have to win if you’re unlucky or don’t want to waste your valuable Poke Ball. As a Fighting-type Pokemon, Mienfoo is weak against Flying, Psychic, and Fairy attacks. So use this information to win ASAP.

Once you’ve caught Mienfoo, you can evolve it into Mienshao, raising its level to 50. The good news is that you won’t have to use any item. But if you catch a Mienfoo at Level 50+, you only need to level it up again, after which it will take on its final form. But we still advise you not to rush into evolving your Pokemon. It is much more effective to catch Mienfoo with Adamant or Jolly Natures. If you get Pokemon with the best Natures, you will get an extremely effective fighter after evolution.
