You can find Giant Brightbloom Seeds in caves scattered throughout Hyrule. In some cases, they drop from enemies in the Depths as well. If you are to find these giant luminescent seeds in caves on the surface of Hyrule, you should have no issues, as these caves are lit up well enough. In addition, Brightbloom Seeds emit dull light while still in the ground, making them easy to spot and pick out from the rest.

If you search for Giant Brightbloom Seeds in the Depths, don’t expect to find any growing out of the ground like you would on the surface. Though they are massively important for locations like the Depths, plant life is scarce. It’s rare to find any Brightbloom Seeds in the Depth where you need them the most.

That said, as you explore caves on the surface, collecting and saving any Brightbloom Seeds you come across is essential. Having some can make your time in the Depths much less deadly.

What are Giant Brightbloom Seeds?

Giant Brightbloom Seeds are seeds that are found underground. When you strike or throw them, they immediately take root where they are located and bloom. This action creates an intense light emitting from the seed that can light your way in the darkness.

There are a few different ways you can light Brightbloom Seeds. The first way is the easiest. Simply walk up to a cluster of seeds before you collect them and hit them with your weapon, using the Y button. This will automatically make them light up without having to be picked up at all. Another effective way to light them is to use the up button on the D-Pad in order to select a Giant Brightbloom Seed to throw. Once it is thrown, it will take root and light up wherever it lands. The third and final way to light them is to attach one to the end of your arrow before you fire it with your bow.

This is everything you need to know to get Giant Brightbloom Seeds in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Have a great day, and be safe!

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
