This article is over 2 years old and may contain outdated information.

Want to know how to get Hawlucha Down in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? While exploring the colorful region of Paldea, you can catch hundreds of unique Pokemon, but to make them more powerful and versatile in battle, you need TMs. First, you must find a specific TM, and then you can create unlimited copies by collecting a few ingredients. If you have a couple of Fighting-type Pokemon in your team, sooner or later, you will need Hawlucha Down to craft Brick Break or Body Press TMs.

To get Hawlucha Down in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat or capture Hawlucha, a colorful fighting Pokémon in its habitats. Outwardly, this Pokemon resembles a Lucha libre fighter, a combat sport known as wrestling. The fighting techniques and habits of this Pokémon also indicate that Hawlucha is ready to fight with everyone for the title of the best fighter in the ring.

Having gone through many battles and trials, the body and spirit of Hawlucha have hardened, which is why this type of Pokemon is not afraid of severe weather and lives in the most severe areas of Paldea. At the same time, Hawlucha loves beaches because if you are not on the beach, you can show off your muscles and have a couple of fights. So if you want to find Hawlucha, you should visit the following locations:

  • Casseroya Lake
  • Glaseado Mountain
  • North Province (Area One-Three)

But despite his confident appearance, Hawlucha has several weaknesses, and you should take advantage of this to win faster. As a Fighting and Flying-type Pokémon, Hawlucha is weak against Electric, Ice, Flying, Psychic, and Fairy-type moves and takes 2x damage from these attacks. At the same time, you shouldn’t use Pokemon with Grass, Fighting, Dark, Bug, and Ground-type moves. Hawlucha is immune to Ground-type attacks. Bug-type attacks will deal only 0.25x damage, and all the other attacks mentioned above are only half effective.
