High Albedo is a 3-round burst Kinetic Sidearm that’s considered to be rather slept on by a large number of Destiny 2 players. Especially with the Headseeker buff and if you can get the Wellspring roll, making it a pretty reliable weapon for both PvE and PvP. Here’s how you can get the High Albedo Sidearm in Destiny 2 in 2023.
How to Get High Albedo in Destiny 2
Although the Beyond Light expansion was first released back in November 2020, there are a few ways that will still let you get a High Albedo in 2023.
1. Complete the “A Hard Rain Falls” Quest
With the Beyond Light expansion, start “A Hard Rain Falls” by talking with the Exo Stranger at Europa’s Campsite. You will be tasked to clear out a number of Patrols and Public Events in Eclipsed Zone, areas marked by asteroids. You should know you’re in the right place if you get the Stasis Regeneration buff.
You will want to complete Heroic Public Events since it gives the most progress toward the Quest. Once the requirements are cleared, just go back to the Exo Stranger to receive your first High Albedo Sidearm.
2. Farm “Europa Explorer I” Sabotage Quest
After obtaining a High Albedo from the “A Hard Rain Falls” and it’s added to your Collections, you can then try your hands on farming the “Europa Explorer I” Sabotage Quest. It costs 30 Herealways Pieces to obtain the Quest.
If you can’t find the Sabotage Quest and thought this method to get Destiny 2’s High Albedo from farming no longer works in 2023, don’t worry! That simply means you have to unlock it first by doing his Challenges over and over until it appears on the second page of Variks’s Quest page.
3. Farm Europa Lost Sectors
The second tier of the Europan Gear tree in the Sabotage Quest upgrade will make sure that you obtain a Europa weapon on a first completion of a Lost Sector each week. Still, the drops are randomized, so you would also want to farm Legend Lost Sector for extra loot.
4. Farm High-Value Targets
Lastly, the method that most of the Destiny 2 community recommends is by farming Brig HVTs in Cadmus Ridge or Eventide Ruins. Since they always spawn between 5 to 10 minutes and their Chests always drop a Europa Legendary, there is a good chance that you will obtain a High Albedo often. But, as always, just hope that the RNGod is on your side.
