A lot of items in Palworld have questionable origins. It’s probably better not to think about it. High Quality Pal Oil is a prime example, but you’re going to need a ton of it for a thriving base. Multiple weapons and technologies require it, and it’s an essential ingredient in crafting Polymer. The good news is several Pals drop this resource, including ones you can find early in the game. Best Pals & Locations to Get High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld

Digtoise, Dumud, and Mammorest are the best pals to farm High Quality Pal Oil in Palworld. Generally, Dumud drops 2-4 when captured or defeated. Digtoise drops 6-8, and Mammorest drops 10-14. If you’re in the mid to late game, head to Twilight Dunes to hunt Dumud and Digtoise and you’ll have the ingredient in no time. These Pals will be level 17-23, so having a higher-level party will make the hunt easy.
If you need High Quality Pal Oil in the early game, however, hunting Woolipop is easier. Not only are they weaker, but they can be found closer to the starting area. Just fast travel to either Sealed Realm of the Sword Master or the Ravine Entrance (west of the Small Settlement and Desolate Church) and hunt for Woolipop in the surrounding area. Where to Buy High Quality Pal Oil
Thankfully, sniping some poor Woolipop while it frolics in a field isn’t your only option. You can also buy High Quality Pal Oil. The best place to do so is from the Wandering Merchant dressed in red at Fisherman’s Point. It’ll cost 300 gold, but the merchant is located near the fast travel point, so it’s pretty convenient. You can also buy the Oil from the merchant at Duneshelter.
