Running intoย Horriblins is scary, especially since they come in packs, but you should take advantage of your lucky moment and know how to get Horrblin Horns in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. The Horriblin is a large creature with imposing musculature, which allows them to smash walls and ceilings. These standard enemies usually hang from the ceilings of caves waiting for their prey. Keep reading this guide to get its monster parts, which are helpful for cooking and weapon fusing.

Where To Find Horriblins

You can find loads of Horriblins in the caves of Hyrule, specifically in Central Hyrule or the depths of Eldin Canyon. If you can’t spot a cave nearby, try dropping fruit in the baskets before the cherry trees. This will cause Satori to spawn and place a marker on every cave for a period of time.

How to Defeat a Horriblin

The Horriblin displays swift aggression during its attacks. However, employing a counterattack or a charged attack can momentarily immobilize them, providing an opportunity to gain an advantage. In cases where this creature is out of reach – maneuvering on walls or ceilings – utilizing a bow can be effective in dislodging it and causing it to fall to the ground. They are not the most brutal enemy to beat, but they cause some damage, so be careful.

How To Use a Horriblin Horn in Tears of the Kingdom?

Upon defeating a Horrblin, it will drop a Horn as spoils of victory. This Horn has a firm texture, elongated shape, and flat apex.

Use this monster part to fuse it with your weapon. In addition to the weapon’s base stats, the Horriblin Horn will grant a substantial 5-point increase to your attack power.

Additionally, if you have a critter in your inventory, the Horn can be a component for crafting a potent elixir. You can find critters such as lizards or frogs all over Hyrule, but you might want to hone your stealth-hunting prowess before approaching them or they might run away. An excellent way to stay stealthy is to get Kakariko’s Village Stealth Outfit, which can be easily purchased once the price is lowered.
