Getting Hybrid Crops in Story of Seasons A Wonderful Life
After you have completed the first year and developed your farm significantly, it is time to consider hybrid crops. After the start of the second year, Takakura will tell you that he found some seeds in his pocket after visiting a village. When he plants them, they will eventually grow into strange flowers with 3 heads. As it turns out that this plant can talk, Takakura will name it Vinnie.
With Vinnie’s help, you can create the desired crop hybrids, but it’s not quite that simple. Before you can do this, you need to become friends with him. All that is required is to simply visit and talk to him often. You will be able to create crop hybrids when your friendship with Vinnie reaches the red mark. You can always check your friendship level in the Resident Info tab.
Vinnie will be very useful for the development of your farm, as he will help you create more than 40 new crops. Below you can see a list of all these crops, including trees and blue crops.
All Hybrid Crops List
To create a hybrid crop, you will need to feed Vinnie 2 fruits or 2 seeds of different plants. We recommend using seeds because, in the long term, you can get more money this way. Sometimes it is not possible to get the desired crop the first time. Try feeding the seeds several times to achieve the result. When a hybrid is successfully created, Vinnie will notify you and provide you with additional information about the name and growth period of the plant. Blue Crops
You can get blue crops if you feed Vinnie with Trick Blue Flower seeds or harvest. You can buy them from Van for 100 gold, or collect them from Turtle Pond. Here is a list of available crops:
