Final Fantasy 16 has the best action sequences and most breathtaking boss fights in recent years. There were some fundamental changes to FF16, especially in the combat section of the game, making it much more fast-paced. For that reason, many new gamers were tempted to play the game and finally dive into the world of Final Fantasy 16. Your main weapon in the game is swords, and there are a few rare and unique ones you shouldn’t miss. Masamune is one of those swords; here is how to get it in Final Fantasy 16.

Even if you aren’t familiar with Final Fantasy, you have probably seen the face of Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 with his long silver hair and great katana. The name of that Katana is Masamune, and it seems that sword has found its way into Final Fantasy 16, or at least its replicant.

The good thing about this sword is you don’t have to fight any huge monster to get it or complete a series of questlines that will take ages to complete. All you have to do is know where to look for it. So firstly, teleport o Eistla or Shadow Coast Obelisk. The treasure containing this sword is located near the Hand of Rhea in the Kingdom of Waloed. Then enter the Angry Gap, and you should be able to spot a narrow crevice on the cliff face. Once you go inside, you will see a stone at the center, and the treasure you are looking for is on its right side.

Go and open it to get the Masamune sword. It has a 310 Attack which is good for the last chapters of the game until you get a better one. If you are a fan of the FF series, then you know this isn’t the real Masamune since it is not nearly as long as the original Katana Sephiroth had. But still, it is a powerful and good-looking sword to have.

Final Fantasy 16 is currently only available on PlayStation 5.
