Minecraft: Emerald Tycoon is the first map designed specifically for mobile players, now available for free in the Minecraft Bedrock marketplace. It is no secret that Minecraft Bedrock for mobile is the most popular platform globally for the famous sandbox survival game. To celebrate this, Minecraft is introducing brand-new mobile-first maps to the Bedrock edition, starting with Emerald Tycoon. While this map was created with mobile players in mind, it is also accessible to other platform owners of Minecraft Bedrock. Read on to learn how to get the Minecraft: Emerald Tycoon Map in Bedrock Edition.
How to Get the Emerald Tycoon Map
To get the Minecraft: Emerald Tycoon Map in Bedrock Edition, open the Marketplace from the title menu screen. While it will likely be in the top-featured items for purchase, those who don’t see it can search “Emerald Tycoon” in the search bar to find it. Finally, select the map and download it.
As mentioned above, the Minecraft: Emerald Tycoon Map will be free-to-play for all users to enjoy. However, its free availability will only last until August 2022, after which it will likely become pay-to-play. A year to download and play this map should undoubtedly be enough for players to experience the new game mode thoroughly.
Here is a description of this exciting new map, according to the official Minecraft website:
“Starting off in a plains biome, you’ll find different stations that generate emeralds. As you progress, you’ll be able to upgrade both the function and look of the stations. You can also unlock new biomes as well as challenging themed areas.”
All Minecraft‘s Bedrock Edition players will be able to download the map on their platform’s Marketplace, yet bear in mind that its experience has been enhanced for mobile players. More mobile-first maps are coming soon to Minecraft.net and the Bedrock Marketplace within the next couple of weeks.
