Every time you finish exploring 100% of a system, the game rewards you with 1 Navigator Insight. This mechanic incentivizes you to explore as much of the universe as you can, spending the Insight you acquire to make warp routes safer. The second main way to get more Navigator Insight is from space events. These events can trigger whenever you travel along unsafe warp routes. Here are the kinds of warp routes you can find:
- Green (safe)
- Yellow (unsafe)
- Orange (dangerous)
- Red (deadly)
When traveling down a yellow, orange, or red warp route, there’s a chance of triggering a space event that will reward you with Navigator Insight.
