One of the newest features of the ninth generation of Pokemon games is Paradox Forms. These new forms are tied to the game’s story, and depending on your game, you can see different pocket creatures with futuristic or old styles. While some people don’t enjoy the new forms too much, others like them due to the new moves and abilities they bring to the competitive landscape. If you’re one of the latter, you might want to know how to get Raging Bolt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet now that the Teal Mask DLC is out. If that’s the case, buckle up because this guide is for you.

Sadly, Raging Bolt didn’t arrive with the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Teal Mask DLC. According to information on the official site of the game, players will find Raging Bolt when the Indigo Disk DLC arrives. This means we’ll have to wait until we visit Blueberry Academy to encounter this creature. This might be bad for some, as people have been looking forward to this new form. Despite its look, there are many new abilities and moves this creature has that’ll help with some raids and competitive matches.

When Does Raging Bolt Arrive?

There is no set date for the arrival of Raging Bolt to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. All we know is that Raging Bolt will arrive with the Indigo Disk DLC, which is set to launch in Winter 2023; still, there are other things to see in the Teal Mask DLC.

If you’re not a big fan of the new designs, other classic Pokemon have arrived. Given the Japanese theme of this new DLC, you can expect many creatures from Kanto to appear. As we know, this Pokedex is one of the most beloved ones by fans, which is great as many players need that dose of nostalgia.

While we wait for the arrival of Raging Bolt in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, we can pass the time by enjoying the new area. The island has a fantastic style and an engaging story, similar to the base game. There are many secrets to uncover and creatures to capture, giving you hours of fun. So, get ready to flip that cap, grab as many trainer supplies as possible, and head to Kitakami for a new Poke-adventure.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask DLC is available now on Nintendo Switch.
