In addition, you won’t have to look far to get some Razorshrooms in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and we’ll help you with that.

Luckily for fans of mushroom meals, you can find Razorshrooms shortly after you start your adventure. This mushroom grows near Central Hyrule in the hilly and wooded areas of the Great Hyrule Forest or Tabantha Frontier. Great Hyrule Forest is located northeast of Central Hyrule, and Tabantha Frontier is to the northwest. So, depending on your location, you can choose any direction for mushroom farming.

Just like in the real world, Razorshrooms grow on the ground. So you can find and collect them without additional requirements. And the presence of a wide bright mushroom cap and several characteristic cuts on it make finding Razorshrooms not such a difficult task. However, there is a more efficient way to farm materials, including Razorshrooms.

Farming Razorshrooms

  • Find at least one Razorshroom, collect it, and throw it on the ground
  • After that, press the L key on your controller and select the Camera option.
  • Point the Camera at the mushroom and wait until the Razorshroom caption appears, then take a picture.
  • Along with the photo, Razorshroom will automatically appear in your Compendium.
  • Finally, open the in-game map, press Y to open the Compendium, and select Razorshroom from the list. After these steps, the game will tell you in which direction you should go to find the nearest Razorshroom.

How To Use Razorshrooms in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

As we said at the beginning, Razorshrooms are a great way to increase your strength. Eating this mushroom raw will restore half of a heart of HP and slightly buff your Fuse Attack Power. But you can also make a delicious meal by placing a few Razorshrooms in the pot. These meals are much more effective than raw food and will give Link a more effective buff.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
