Scream Tail is one of the Ancient Paradox Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Anyone who looks at Scream Tail will immediately know their relation to Jigglypuff. In fact, they’re more of a nightmare version of the sweet and adorable Jigglypuff. If you want to add this Paradox Pokemon to your bag, we’ll help you track them down. They have some great stats, so it pays off to find them.

Where to Find Scream Tail in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet How to Find Scream Tail

Similar to the other Paradox Pokemon , Scream Tail is only available post-game. Also, Scream Tail is an Ancient Pokemon , so they are only in the Scarlet version of the game. So, if Violet players want them, they either have to co-op with their Scarlet friend or trade with them.

With that out of the way, let’s track down Scream Tail in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Thankfully, Scream Tail isn’t difficult to find. They are located in Area Zero in the Great Crater of Paldea. You can visit any of the Research Station levels to find them. With how simple they are to locate, you may encounter Scream Tail first before any of the other Paradox Pokemon  in the area.

If you want one immediately, you can always head to Research Station 4 and go to the bottom of the crystal cave. Once you enter, there should be a few Scream Tails waiting around.

Since Scream Tail is a Fairy/Psychic-type, you can use Poison, Steel, and Ghost-type Pokemon to wear them down in battle.

  • Special Defense: 115
  • Speed: 111

Scream Tail also has the Protosynthesis ability. With this, their highest stat is increased by 30%. However, if the highest stat is Speed, then that sees a 50% increase.

Similar to other Paradox Pokemon , Scream Tail doesn’t have an evolutionary line. But they are reliable enough as they are. They’re also rather versatile since they have a range of Normal, Dark, Fairy, Steel, and Psychic-type moves. So, you can use them against different enemies.

When you finish the game, get out there to hunt down the cool Paradox Pokemon known as Scream Tail.
