Disney Dreamlight Valley has always been full of fun, collectible resources, and it’s only gotten better with the release of the A Rift in Time expansion. Players have all of Eternity Isle at their fingertips, and there’s many new things to find. Hidden among the new content, players will be able to catch some brand-new fish and seafood in Eternity Isle, like the sea snail. This brightly colored specimen isn’t hard to find, but it’s going to take you a long way away from Dreamlight Valley.

In order to catch sea snails in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need the following items right off the bat:

  • The Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time Expansion Pack
  • The Royal Fishing Rod

After you’ve purchased the new expansion pack, you and your villagers can now travel to Eternity Isle, where a scheming Jafar awaits. Thankfully, all of your tools come with you, including the Royal Fishing Rod. The fishing rod is one of the first tools you’ll get when starting the game, and it’s instrumental to catching sea snails, like any other fish.

Once you’ve arrived at Eternity Isle by going through Stardust Port and taking the Ancient Vessel, you’ll land in The Docks biome. Sea Snails can only be found in The Docks, and as soon as you land you’ll see ripples in the water around you. Keep an eye out for blue ripples, specifically, since this is where you’ll find sea snails. If you don’t see any blue ripples at first, be patient – if you fish in other ripples and they disappear, blue ripples will eventually spawn in the water around The Docks.

After you’ve spotted a blue ripple, cast your fishing rod. Catching a sea snail is no different than catching any other fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley; pay attention to the button prompts, and it won’t be long until you’re reeling in your prize. Sea snails can be sold for 250 coins, and they’re also used in the recipe for “Best Fish Forever”, new with the expansion pack.
