You can learn how to get many different crafting materials in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, such as Soldier Construct Horns. Soldier Construct Horns are one of the first materials you will collect, aside from a pair of pants and a weak sword. However, getting this material is a bit more complicated than simply collecting them from a chest or investigating a sparkling area on the ground. Keep reading to learn how to get Soldier Construct Horns in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: How to Get Soldier Construct Horns

As with any Legend of Zelda game, you’re bound to come across an enemy eventually. This may seem a bit rough at first since you will be fairly unprotected and won’t have the greatest of weapons. However, coming across enemies can be pretty beneficial. Enemies not only drop resources and weapons but crafting materials as well.

This first enemy we come across is a Soldier Construct, a strange mechanical-looking creature that will attack on sight. Soldier Constructs aren’t too vicious. However, with the mere tree branches and swords you will have when you first come across them, taking them down may take a few tree branches. As you make your way toward the first Soldier Construct that you see, be sure to pick up various tree branches off the ground to aid in your first battle.

Once you approach the Soldier Construct, it will immediately begin to charge after you. You can lock onto your target by holding down the ZL button and attack using the Y button when you near the Construct.

Once you have taken down your first Soldier Construct, you will be able to pick up a Soldier Construct Horn off the ground along with a Zonai Charge. A Zonai Charge is another material that can come in handy later on in the game, so it’s best to pick both of these up any chance you get.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
