Since Standees are not consumable items, you will not be able to find them while completing courses in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Instead, you need to explore each of the seven Worlds and find the Poplin Shops. In these places, you can buy Wonder Seed, 1-Up Mushrooms, and other useful items, including Standees.

Where To Find Standees

At first, you will only be able to purchase Standee Surprise for 10 Flower Coins. This item will allow you to get one random Standee. However, the more Standees you unlock, the more often you will get duplicates. Luckily, you can avoid this quite easily.

When you get to the Poplin Shops in Special World, you’ll find that they sell special Standee Surprises for each of the Super Mario Bros. Wonder characters. And although they cost 30 Flower Coins, you can get Standees for the characters you play the most. In addition, players are guaranteed to receive a Standee which they do not yet have.

By selecting the Standees you like in the appropriate menu, you can use them in any course when playing online in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Just crouch and press X to put Standee. It will work as a checkpoint where players can respawn when they become a ghost. However, your Standee will only help other players. At the same time, you will be able to take advantage of those placed by other players. And if you find a gray Standee on the course, you will need to touch it to activate it.

Basically, it’s just a collectible that might give you a little fun. But if you play online, this can save you since players often use Standee before difficult sections of the course. Therefore, players will be able to help each other explore all the worlds.
