If you’re really taking the “catch them all” aspect of Pokemon seriously, then you’re going to want to add Stunfisk to your team. Realistically, whether it’s to increase your Pokedex additions or to be used in a raid, who doesn’t want to have more Pokemon? If you haven’t already added this ground and electric-type Pokemon to your roster, then keep on reading to find out more about how to get Stunfisk in Pokemon Go. They aren’t legendary, but they are definitely worth having.

There are two forms that Stunfisk has, its Generation V version as well as its Galarian version. Depending on which one you’re on the hunt for, you’ll want to go through different means to find them. Right now, you should be able to find the regular version of them within the Eggs: Season of Hidden Gems event that is running between June 1, 2023, and September 1, 2023. Otherwise, they can be obtained as normal via common areas such as parking garages and general residential areas.

If you’re trying to look for the Glarian version of Stunfisk, then you’ll have a little bit of a tougher time. Unfortunately, you cannot find the Galarian Stunfisk in the wild as you normally would the normal one. This time, you’ll have to search in raid battles and during Special Research and Timed Research events. They are also currently available in the Eggs: Season of Hidden Gems event as stated above.

Regardless of which one you are pursuing; they both have a capture rate of 20% and a flee rate of 10%. If you happen to have an egg of either of them, they evolve after 5 kilometers and after every 5 kilometers, give you a Stunfisk candy.

Who Is Stunfisk

Stunfisk is a Pokemon that was originally introduced in the fifth generation of games. It is both a ground and electric-type Pokemon with its Galarian counterpart being a ground and steel-type Pokemon. They are flat and fish-like, with orange skin and a yellow tail that has a marking that looks like an exclamation point when looked at from behind. Just touching the Pokemon will zap you. The Galarian version looks a bit different with a gray body that has green markings along it. Its mouth looks similar to a Poke Ball, which they use to lure people to their space so that they can attack them. Its skin won’t zap you, but instead can be strengthened.
