To counter the effects of Gloom in the Depths, you must know how to get Sundelions in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. In Hyrule, you’ll run into several herbs, flowers, and fruits that you can use in your cooking sessions. But what’s especially interesting is that they are not just for seasoning, they have healing or boosting properties too. Sundelion, for instance, will help you recover hearts affected by Gloom. But how can you get your hands on this majestic herb?

In Tears of the Kingdom, you can find Sundelions in the Sky Islands and the Forgotten Temple.

If you’re up for a journey to the sky, go to the Skyview Tower in Eldin Canyon. As you ascend to the dizzying heights of this majestic tower, you’ll notice islands connected by rails. Then, traverse from the Archipelago to the smaller floating islands, where you’ll discover a treasure trove of Sundelions. 

However, Preparing yourself for the path to these precious blooms is not without peril. Fight against the formidable Zonai Constructs, or grab your Sundelions in Tears of the Kingdom and flee from battle.

If you’d prefer to stay on land, head to the Forgotten Temple, accessible from Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower. Begin your search for the temple entrance within the depths of Tanagar Canyon. Once you’ve successfully navigated through the treacherous terrain, you’ll find yourself standing in the Forgotten Temple. Delve deeper into its chambers until you reach the final room. Here, you’ll discover a cluster of three Sundelions in Tears of the Kingdom. 

Best Sundelion Recipes to Cure Gloom

Sundelions are exceptional in taking care of your health. If you cook them with any ingredient, they can restore the damage created by Gloom up to 15 hearts. But, of course, it all depends on the amount of Sundelion you get. 

  1. Sunny Salt-Grilled Meat: The ingredients you need are: Raw Meat + Rock Salt + Sundelion. This recipe restores two hearts and cures three hearts consumed by Gloom.
  2. Sunny Meat and Rice Bowl: The ingredients you need are: Raw Meat + Rock Salt + Hylian Rice + Bird Egg + Sundelion. This recipe restores five hearts and cures three hearts consumed by Gloom.
  3. Sunny Fried Egg and Rice: The ingredients you need are: Hylian Rice + Bird Egg + Sundelion. This Tears of the Kingdom Sundelion recipe restores four hearts and cures three hearts consumed by Gloom. 
  4. Sunny Veggie Porridge: The ingredients you need are: Hylian Rice + Fresh Milk + Sundelion. This recipe restores three hearts and cures three hearts consumed by Gloom.
