What is  Arc-themed armor in Destiny 2?

Bungie has been teasing us with their upcoming Arc-themed Armor set, and we’ve gotten glimpses of it in pre-release media. Also, the robes appear inspired by the painted kids’ suit from Fortnite. And the helmet features an intricate glowing mohawk reminiscent of the Virtuous hood from Seasons of Dawn. Bungie may have something special planned for the gloves in this set since the wiring on its fingertips suggests some arc effects. Although we don’t know if those effects will shade as they do on Solar and Void sets, we can look forward to some unique style elements when this armor set appears!
