You can get Archaic Tunic in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom inside the Pondside Cave near the In-Isa Shrine. You can find it in coordinates 0287, -1563, 1364. Here are the steps you need to follow.

  1. Go to the Pondside Cave as shown on the above map.
  2. There are some Keese and Bubbulfrogs that you need to eliminate to make your way forward.
  3. Go inside the cave straight until you find a large open area.
  4. Go to the chest and the middle of the cave area and open it.
  5. You will find the Archaic Tunic in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom inside the chest.

While walking through the cave, you can collect some Brightbloom Seeds. Also, you can collect  Keese Wing and Eyeball by eliminating some Keese inside the cave. This is the first time you will meet Keese and Bubbulfrogs in the game, and they are not both powerful enemies compared to others that Link will encounter in the future.

What Is the Archaic Tunic?

The Archaic Tunic is the first armor Link gets in the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Once you complete the game introduction section, Link awakes and finds some pants before leaving the first dungeon on the Sky Islands. However, he will not find a chest piece to wear; therefore, he must discover the Archaic Tunic as the first armor. The Archaic Tunic is old-fashioned upper bodywear with many holes in it. Even though it is hard to keep wrinkle-free, its soft clothes give a good tactile feel to the wearer.

So,  the Archaic Tunic provides Link with much-needed protection against the enemies in his adventure and offers some defense. It is made of old fabric but can withstand moderate damage and absorb most physical attacks. Nevertheless, the Archaic Tunic in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is insufficient for Link to survive all his challenges on his journey. He must then search for stronger armor that can offer more protection and durability when he encounters formidable enemies in the future.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch exclusively.
