So far, the Kepler fashion has been fantastic, and Guardians looking to add more armor to their wardrobe will want to watch out for the new Collective Psyche armor set in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate. If you’re a veteran, you might already know that the only way to farm this set is by participating in the Desert Perpetual raid. However, it is more complicated than that, as certain armor pieces only drop from specific encounters. Here, we’ll tell you where each piece unlocks so you can complete your set.
[Note: This guide is a work in progress, and we’ll update it as more armor drops happen in the raid.]
How To Obtain the Collective Psyche Set
If you want to get the Collective Psyche set for any of the three classes in Destiny 2, you’ll need to farm The Desert Perpetual raid. Like in any other instance of this type, you need to complete the whole raid and face all encounters to get a piece of armor. However, certain encounters will drop specific armor pieces, so you’ll likely have to farm the raid more than once. Below is where you can obtain each piece:
- Second Encounter (Iatros, Inward-turned)
- Has a chance to drop the Collective Psyche helmet.
- Has a chance to drop the Collective Psyche chest.
- Third Encounter (Epoptes, Lord of Quanta)
- Has a chance to drop the Collective Psyche legs.
- Final Encounter (Koregos, the Worldline)
- Has a chance to drop the Collective Psyche legs.
Assuming you’re not new to the game, you know you’ll have to grind the raid a lot. Each encounter drops different pieces, and if you want the whole set, you’ll have to go inside repeatedly. However, when it comes to Destiny 2 armors, the Collective Psyche set is one of the best we’ve seen in the game, and one that perfectly fits the whole Kepler fashion.
