How to Get the Ember Shirt in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Ember Shirt is one of the components of the Ember Armor set in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Apart from being a lovely cosmetic for Link, the set provides an attack boost in heated environments and some much-needed armor. Like the other armor sets in the game, the Ember set has three components, including Ember Trousers, Ember Headdress, and Ember Shirt. In this guide, we will find out how to get the Ember Shirt in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

The Amber Shirt is in the Goronbi River Cave, which you can find marked on the map above. After you reach there, you will notice some monsters guarding the cave at the entrance. However, you can easily bypass them by jumping and flying over them.

Getting the Ember Shirt

Once inside the cave, you will encounter enemies that drop valuable fuse items. However, it’s important to be cautious of the caves’ fiery environment. We recommend getting items with flame guards or a fire lizard potion to avoid the hassle of burning yourself. You will also come across a part where lava will obstruct your path. It’s best to use floating platforms instead of touching the lava directly. You can recall one platform to reach another section, or you can create your own path using the Ultrahand and Recall abilities.

Once you cross the lava parts and get to the other side, you will face another enemy. You can use a combination of water and normal attacks to defeat it and proceed. After defeating the enemy, you will come across another lava section. Now, you may need to use a Splash Fruit to create a platform or wait for a platform to cross the lava fountain and come to you. If you don’t have the fruit, we think it’s best to stay patient and wait for the platform to arrive.

After you get on the platform, wait until it sails you to the next safe spot. Stay on the platform and keep looking at the ceiling to see a huge block-like ledge. Once your platform is directly beneath the ledge, use Ascend to reach on top of the ledge. On the top, you will find a special chest containing a Fire-Breath Lizal Blade. From there, jump, glide and climb on the opposite land. There, you will find the Amber Shirt in another chest.
