It’s been over 13 years since the Worgen city of Gilneas fell to the Forsaken in World of Warcraft. While the Night Elves took the fleeing citizens in during the game’s Cataclysm expansion, players always figured they would eventually get to call the place a hub. It was a popular request. However, Blizzard never took the opportunity to bring it back as a capital city. In Seeds of Renewal, the Horde and Alliance can finally help King Greymane and his subjects reclaim Gilneas, ending in a mount reward. Let’s discuss how to get the Gilnean Prowler mount in WoW.
How To Reclaim Gilneas in World of Warcraft
Players on either faction can help the Worgen reclaim their home. With the launch of Patch 10.2.5, a quest has been added to Dragonflight’s Valdrakken hub city near the Alliance Stormwind portal. Your presence is requested as King Greymane is finally ready to take back his nation.
While the Forsaken have long pulled out of the lands, the Scarlet Crusade has taken the opportunity to occupy it in the meantime. To get the Gilnean Prowler mount in WoW, you will need to follow the quest chain into the outskirts of Gilneas, where you find out the Forsaken want to help right their wrong.
Where To Get the Gilnean Prowler Mount in WoW
After doing a few quests that involve defeating the occupants and liberating areas, you eventually engage the leader of the Scarlet Crusade and take Gilneas back for the Worgen. Upon witnessing the transfer of power, you are rewarded with the Gilnean Prowler mount in WoW for your efforts. This mount is a white fox with a saddle. Furthermore, it is a recolor of the first fox mount introduced in the Legion expansion.
Aside from the Gilnean Prowler mount in WoW, you will also receive a new transmog to go with it from completing the quests to reclaim Gilneas. The Gilnean Noble’s Suit is a tophat suit covered with rose embellishments.
Alliance characters can also utilize Gilneas as a hub city much like Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, and the Exodar. Furthermore, Alliance players also received a new settlement with Bel’ameth in the Dragon Isles.
