Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remains one of the most popular versions of the character. Even decades later, that game remains in the heads of many Zelda fans. In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you can dress up as the Hero of Time if you put the time into it. Like the Dark Link set, getting all of them will be better for you in the long run. Here is how to get the Hero of Time set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
How To Get the Hero of Time Set in Tears of the Kingdom in the Depths
You can find the three Hero of Time pieces in Tears of the Kingdom down in the Depths. Remember that it will be very dark when exploring this portion of the map. Be sure to activate as many Lightroots as possible and use Brightbloom Seeds when needed.
The Cap of Time will be the most difficult piece to get. It is the most out of the way and can have you walking around in the dark when you get lost. Underneath the Sturnida Basin in the Hebra Mountains is the Sturnida Lavafalls. You can find the chest sitting on a rock pedestal near the lava. The heat will be blistering, so hurry and grab it and get out if you don’t have the protection.
The other two pieces are much easier to grab. For the Tunic of Time, enter the Hyrule Ridge Chasm west of Lindor’s Brow Skyview Tower. When you are down there, head east until you find the Lindor Canyon Mine, which is almost right under that tower.
The Trousers of Time can be grabbed by entering the Gerudo Summit Chasm. Essentially go straight down, and you will find the chest in ruins.
How to get the Hero of Time set in Tears of the Kingdom with amiibo
If you own the Ocarina of Time Link amiibo, you can scan it once daily to get one of the pieces. This may be a better option if you don’t want to walk around in the dark Depths. Additionally, you can also get some meat and a Soldier’s Claymore.
