One of the most stylish weapons in Elden Ring, the Hoslow’s Petal Whip, is the best of its class for Blood Loss-focused builds. Although you can normally get the weapon during the endgame stages, is there a way to get it earlier? We’ve got the answer on how to get Hoslow’s Petal Whip early, as well as how to get two of them in the same playthrough.
Where To Find Hoslow’s Petal Whip in Elden Ring
You can get Hoslow’s Petal Whip early in Elden Ring by killing Diallos while he mourns the death of Lanya at Liurnia of the Lakes. Once at the area, you can find Diallos at the spot marked below, close to Academy Gate Town. Diallos will only move to the spot below after you exhaust his dialogue at the Roundtable Hold.
How To Get Two Petal Whips in the Same Playthrough
The quickest way to get two Petal Whips in the same Elden Ring playthrough can be done by — after killing Diallos — taking part in the Volcano Manor questline until you receive the Red Letter. The letter will ask you to kill Juno Hoslow, Knight of Blood. Apart from the second whip, you will also receive the Hoslow’s Set after killing him.
After receiving the letter, you will be able to find Juno’s Red Summoning Sign directly ahead of Mountaintops of the Giants’s Shack of the Lofty in the spot marked below. I was able to easily reach the area by heading southwest from the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Grace.
How To Get the Two Petal Whips Without Killing Diallos in Elden Ring
Even if you don’t kill Diallos, you will still be able to get both Hoslow’s Petal Whips by reaching the final stages of the Jar Bairn questline after defeating Juno. Keep in mind that you will need to kill Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, to progress through the quest, and doing so before completing the Red Letter assignment will make it impossible to face Juno.
You can check out how to complete Jar Bairn’s questline in our Where to Find Jar-Bairn and How to Complete His Quest guide.
