Compared to the easiest badges you can get in The Hunt, the one in Need More Friends is anything but. It consists of a scavenger hunt for crystals, followed by a series of obstacle courses, another scavenger hunt for some number, and ending on one final obstacle course. There’s a maze thrown in there, too. Talk about a gauntlet, but for one more token in Roblox, it’s worth the trouble!
How To Unlock The Hunt: First Edition Badge in Need More Friends
When you wake up in the morning, ignore your birthday party completely. It has nothing to do with The Hunt badge in Need More Friends. Instead, what you’re doing is:
- Locating 10 purple crystals all over the home
- Completing six obstacle courses
- Finding your way out of a maze
Ready to go? Finding all 10 purple crystals is actually the easiest part out of this entire ordeal. You’ll find all 10 in your house, though they’re placed in somewhat random locations. Look in your room, your parent’s bedroom, the hallway, garage, bathroom, and the living room and you’ll find all 10.
Once you have all 10 purple crystals, you can unlock the portal by the fireplace. Step on through, and you’ll come to your first obstacle course. The course itself isn’t as important as the number you’ll find near the end of each one. Look behind the crystal to your left, and you’ll find a number; it’s different for everyone, so write it down, including the color of the number. It’s important!
At the end of the first obstacle course, you’ll have to play a fishing game. It’s a little frustrating, but luckily, you can cheese the minigame by constantly selecting the button.
The second course is divided into two parts: an obby and running from a boulder. The obby is easy enough, but before you run from the boulder, you’ll find another number right by the cactus just as you turn the corner.
To escape the boulder, start running as soon as it passes. There’s a small nook you can wait in further down the path, but if you’re quick enough, you can do it in one go. The next course involves avoiding tracking on three separate roads. Before you cross the first one, look to your right, on the hill behind you, and you’ll find your third number.
Now, at the end of the next obstacle course, there will be a locked gate. You need a four-digit code to unlock it, which is different for everyone. So far, you’ve gathered three, which honestly is all you need. You’ll find the last one near the door, past the lasers, but you can simply guess. The numbers go in order of color!
On the other side of the gate is a maze. Stick to one side of the wall and follow it. You’ll reach the end in no time. Once you’re through, you only have the two hardest obstacle courses to finish. Luckily, there are these small platforms (glowing white) that you can step on to create a checkpoint. By finishing both, you’ll earn yourself The Hunt badge in Need More Friends!
