Outfits and gear are the ultimate lifesavers in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, helping you get out of the toughest situations. However, you may find yourself in the fearful darkness of the Depths to get the most powerful pieces in the game. Luckily, what you need to do to get the Lynel Mask is straightforward and does not involve any combat in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You’ll need to stop by a vendor to grab it. We’ll explain how to get and where to find the Lynel Mask in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Where to Find the Lynel Mask in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To get your hands on the Lynel Mask, you’ll first need to find Koltin and his shop. Before finding the shop, complete Kilton and Koltin’s The Hunt for Bubbul Gems sidequest in the cave near Pico Pond. This cave is near Woodland Stable and at coordinates 1216, 1208, 0020. You can start the side quest by talking to Kilton.
To complete this sidequest, you must give Koltin a Bubbul Gem. If you have one on you, you can give it directly to him. If not, you’ll need to find a Bubbulfrog inside caves and defeat it. You can find plenty of Bubbulfrog in the cave next to you. We recommend collecting a lot, as it will be beneficial later on. Once you have the Bubbul Gem, hand it over to Koltin, and the sequel quest, The Search for Koltin, will begin where you will get the Lynel Mask.
Your next stop will be Koltin’s Shop in Tarrey Town. Tarrey Town is located in Akkala and north of Zora’s Domain. Find Kilton in Tarrey Town; he will help you track down Koltin’s location. Upon finding Koltin, the shop will be open, and you can purchase his goods in exchange for Bubbul Gems.
How to Buy the Lynel Mask from Koltin’s Shop
You must first purchase a few items for Lynel Mask to appear in Koltin’s shop. It would be best to farm Bubbul Gems by defeating Bubbulfrogs in caves, as there are many items you need to buy. You need to spend a total of 36 Bubbul Gems on all items, including the Lynel Mask. Here are all the items you need to purchase before unlocking Lynel Mask in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom:
