Wondering how to get the Miner’s Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom to complement your Miner Outfit? Tears of the Kingdom lets you dress up Link however you want. Are you going for a climber look? The game’s definitely got you covered. Into looking like fish? Sure, why not. Now, ToK has gone as far as including a mole-man set: The Miner Outfit. But how could this outfit be complete without the trousers? In this guide, we’ll help you get the Miner’s Trousers in the game.

As you would probably expect from a set that glows in the darkness, it can be found in the Depths. The good news is it’s completely free. But, of course, nothing free is actually free of any type of cost. You’ll have to put in loads of effort to activate the Lightroots that activate the area that holds the Miner’s Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom.

You’ll find the Miner’s Trousers in the center region of the Depths, right under Hyrule Field.

If you’d like to jump from the Surface, your best bet is to dive deep down the Great Plateau West Chasm. When your feet touch the ground, activate the Lightroot nearby. If you can’t see anything, why not drop Brightbloom Seeds to illuminate your path?

With the Koradat Lightroot guiding the way, trace your steps back to the west to find Miner’s Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom. The place is infested by gloom, and many enemies will approach you, but you can outrun or outsmart them with your Zonai devices. When you get to Hylia Canyon Mine, you know you’re in the right place.

If you feel confident traversing the Depths, start your journey from the Great Abandoned Central Mine and head south until you spot the Koradat Lightroot. Then, you’ll have to head west to spot the Hylia Canyon Mine.

Once inside Hylia Canyon Mine, glide to an area with stairs and ruins. You should spot the Miner’s Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom inside a treasure chest here.

Wondering where the rest of the outfit is? Down in the Depths, you can find the whole set to complement your Miner’s Trousers in Tears of the Kingdom. The Miner Mask can be found inside a chest in the Abandoned Kara Kara Mine (SW) near the Tatayam Lightroot. As for the chest piece, the Miner’s top, you’ll run into it inside a chest near the Iayusus Lightroot, right below the Surface’s Hyrule Garrison Ruins.

Tears of the Kingdom is available on the Nintendo Switch.
