The Mystic Robe is useful if you are worried about protecting your health in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Instead of losing hearts when struck, Rupees will be taken out of your wallet. Sure, this isnโ€™t great for someone struggling to fill their wallet, but those who are loaded may want to consider it. It is just another case of specialized armor in the game. Here is how to get the Mystic Robe in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

To grab the Mystic Robe in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you need to find Koltin. This Satori-obsessed person will trade you various items after giving him Bubbul Gems. In our experience, we had to buy a few other items before he offered the Mystic Robe, but what he offers might be random.

To get Bubbul Gems, you need to find and defeat Bubbulfrogs. These creatures are found in caves and will disappear after you hit them one time. When they disappear, they leave behind the Bubbul Gem for you to pick up, and a Blupee will appear for you to get some Rupees. Only one Bubbulfrog can ever appear in a cave. If your map has a checkmark next to the cave, you already got the Bubbul Gem from that area. That is all you need to know about how to get the Mystic Robe in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.

What does the Mystic Robe do in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

When the Mystic Robe is equipped, you will lose Rupees whenever you take damage. That said, there is a limit to the damage being prevented from your hearts. For example, being struck by a Chu Chu lost us ten Rupees and no hearts. We then went to an Electric Gleeok, and one of its attacks cost us 120 Rupees as well as several hearts. This is not a guaranteed protection against all damage. That may be different if you unlock more Mystic pieces from Koltin and equip them, though.

We only recommend the Mystic Robe if you are absolutely drowning in Rupees. For some people, Tears of the Kingdom is pretty rough to gather up the necessary cash. For others, they might not know what to do with the extra money. If you have duplicated a lot of Diamonds and gotten rich that way, this may be worth the hit.
