Sons of the Forest: How to Get the Shotgun Rail
There are several different crash locations on the island, but if you crashed near the beach, you are in luck. The location of the Shotgun Rail is only a short trek from the beach spawn. We’ll show you how to get there from your beach spawn.
As soon as you wake up on the beach, you will be out on a small peninsula of land connected to the main island. If you look around, there’s not much in sight aside from a large portion of beach and the trees in front of you. However, for this item, we won’t be traveling into the woods at all. We can stay right on the beach and make our way to the Shotgun Rail much easier and faster.
To begin with, starting from the crash zone on the beach, look in-land toward the trees. From here, you will follow the beach to the left. The route won’t be short, and you’ll be walking or running for quite some time. After a while, you will encounter a pair of beaches orca whales. This means that you are beginning to get close to your destination. Keep heading in the same direction past the orcas until you come across a couple of abandoned rafts and kayaks on the ground.
Check out the rafts and collect the Machete stuck into the first one you come across. Once you’ve collected the weapon, look to your right. There should be a couple of tents, loot crates, and a dead body. If you search over the dead body, you will find the Shotgun Rail attachment in the body’s hand.
You can find the location here.
