How To Get the Trinity Crossbow in Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom

Bolts can pierce stones, too.

One of the best weapons of Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom is locked behind several playthroughs, and we’re talking about none other than the Trinity Crossbow. This crossbow boasts a threefold attack and is a fantastic primary armament to have. It doles out a lot of damage, has a great firing rate, and looks fantastic. However, players will need to spend a lot of time looking for it. But if you have a lot of patience or friends eager to help, this weapon will be yours in no time.

Instead of finding it inside a chest or hidden behind a boss fight, the Trinity Crossbow of Remnant 2 requires players to experience the DLC three times. This might sound like a lot, but once you learn the ropes of this adventure, tackling it will become easier in each subsequent run. Here’s what you must do to obtain the crossbow.

  1. Enter the DLC through the Worldstone menu by picking Adventure. Do not enter Yaesha through the main game, as finding DLC-specific areas will be harder.
  2. Start The Forgotten Kingdom as you normally would.
  3. To start working on your Trinity Crossbow, you must search every DLC-specific area. This means you need to focus on the Proving Grounds, Earthrn Coliseum, Infested Abyss, etc.
  4. In these areas, there’s a chance you’ll find a Trinity Memento.
  5. You need to obtain three Trinity Mementos and return them to Dwell at Ward 13.
  6. You can return a piece after every playthrough or once you have all of them; it doesn’t seem to matter. However, we recommend you do it at the end of every adventure.
  7. After you get all three, you’ll obtain the Echo of the Forest amulet. You must equip it before you reach the next part.

Opening the Secret Passage

At the Ancient Canopy, if you start from the initial checkpoint and climb all the way to the top, you’ll encounter a small checkpoint. Once you activate it, you can jump from the ledge and turn around to see a waterfall. Jump through it, and you’ll arrive at a small area that has a dungeon entrance but, more importantly, a wall that has a drawing resembling the Trinity Memento. If you have the amulet equipped, a passage will open, revealing the room where the Trinity Crossbow of Remnant 2 is.

Again, I’m glad Gunfire Games hides powerful weapons behind exploration that encourage replayability. Furthermore, this crossbow is a fantastic addition to any build and one of the best-looking armaments in the game. So, if you like the DLC enough, don’t be afraid of exploring it three times to get your stone-breaking, monster-killing crossbow.
