Where to Find TM 018 Thief in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Like most other TMs, you can get TM 018 Thief in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in two ways:

Find on the ground in one of the biomes of the Paldea region.
Craft on TM Machine.

It is worth noting that if you have progressed far enough in the game’s story and defeated Team Star Fire Crew, then the recipe for this TM is already in your pocket, and you can immediately move on to crafting. Otherwise, you must find at least one TM 018 Thief in Paldea to unlock the recipe. But don’t worry, there are two places with Thief TM, and you only need to visit the one closest to you:

The first place you can visit is South Province (Area Two). Take the mountain town of Cortondo as your starting point and head east. Next, you must reach the place in the first image above and pick up Thief TM.
The next place is much to the north of the previous one. Take the Pokemon Center in Glaseado Mountain as your starting point and head southwest. After reaching the edge of the location, you will find the second TM 018 Thief at the junction of the Glaseado Mountain and Dalizapa Passage locations.
