There are several different areas where you can mine for different resources and find several new items for your adventure in My Time at Sandrock. When you first start, you have access to the Euafala Salvage Abandoned Ruins, which gives you access to different ores and items. As you progress, you’ll need to find other ruins to acquire more resources and items. One of these ruins is called the Gecko Station Ruins. We wrote out exactly how to get to the Gecko Station Ruins in My Time at Sandrock.

Gecko Station Ruins is to the west, just outside of Sandrock. Getting there, however, requires you to progress in the story starting with a quest titled Operation De-Geeglate. The steps to getting to Gecko Station Ruins are as follows:

  1. Complete Operation De-Geeglate.
    • The end of this quest causes the bridge from Sandrock to Gecko Station Ruins to collapse, forcing you to rebuild it.
  2. Complete Belly of the Beast.
    • This quest takes you through Gecko Station Ruins, where you must escape.
  3. Complete In Trusses We Trust.
    • This quest requires you to build two trusses to rebuild the previously collapsed bridge. You can get the quest from Heidi, and it takes one day for her to mail you the schematics for the trusses.
  4. Complete Paradise Lost And Found.
    • This quest takes you through Paradise Lost, beside Euafala Salvage, to get something for Qi.
  5. Complete Qi’s Gungam Opus.
    • You will need to create an R-47 Mobile Suit using a diagram that Qi gives you. It takes one day for Qi to mail you the diagram.
  6. Complete The Inspector.
    • Do it on the same day you get the quest because we went to sleep and it said we failed the mission. We weren’t sure how to obtain it again.
  7. Complete Mint Condition.
    • Build a Magneto Inductive Inspector for Mint to use on the bridge. It takes one day for him to mail you the diagram for it.
  8. Complete In Trusses We Trust.
    • Once everything above has been completed, you will be asked to place the trusses you built earlier onto the newly completed bridge.

After one day, you will receive a letter from Matilda explaining that the ceremony to open the new Shonash Canyon Bridge will be the following day.

My Time at Sandrock is now available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
