Hogwarts is a vast, exciting, and sometimes dangerous place to explore. Hogwarts Legacy captures all that thrilling magic, putting it on full display for players to enjoy. However, not all areas are accessible right away. Instead, you have to unlock them. The Hospital Wing is one of those places. If you’re one of the many Hogwarts Legacy players who can’t get to the Hospital Wing in, our guide will help you locate the area.

How to Get to the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy

How to Get to the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy is shaping up to be a spectacular adventure for longtime and new fans of the franchise. One of the most talked about features is the open-world environment and just how much of the castle you can explore. But you need to unlock some of these areas before you can check them out.

When it comes to the Hospital Wing, the only way you can unlock it is to begin “The Caretaker’s Lunar Lament” main quest. To access it, you must be at Level 14 as well as complete “Percival Rackham’s Trial,” another main quest.

Doing this will gain you access to Alohomora, a necessary spell to get to the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy.

To do this quest, follow these steps:

  1. Speak to Gladwin Moon
  2. Follow his instructions about the statue
  3. Learn to cast Alohomora
  4. Sneak through the restricted areas

Once you speak with Gladwin Moon, you will initiate the quest. He will ask you about the curious statue, and once you follow the steps to complete that portion of the mission, you’ll get a chance to walk around and speak with Moon some more. Simply follow along with the questline, and Moon will eventually mention that you need your Disillusionment Charm as well as learn Alohomora to venture into the restricted sections.

Now, you’re closer to reaching the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy. You will have to travel up a few flights of stairs, so your Disillusionment Charm comes in handy to make sure you aren’t seen by faculty and students.

When you reach the 4th floor, you will see a set of circular staircases. You want to take that to the top, where you will see a locked door to use Alohomora on. This will get you into the Prefrect’s Bathroom in Hogwarts Legacy, which is one step away from you finding the Hospital Wing.

You must stay hidden, so once in the bathroom, take a left to avoid the students to the right. You can continue on your quest when you retrieve the moon from the statue.

When you leave the bathroom, go up the stairs and make a left. You will see a Floo Flame transporter and can unlock fast travel to the Hospital Wing. Inside the Hospital Wing, you will notice some faculty, so wait until one of them walks away before trying to sneak by.

From there, you can continue with the quest. However, you have discovered your goal of the Hospital Wing and can even fast travel there in the future.
