Throughout your adventure as a student in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll frequently need to visit a location known as The Map Chamber. This spacious hall sits beneath the academy and serves as the room where you and oftentimes Professor Fig will converse with the four Keepers. They aren’t present in their physical forms per se, but their massive portraits can communicate with you. That said, you’ll often be required to visit The Map Chamber to accept a Trial from the Keepers or discuss your connection with Ancient Magic.

Accessing The Map Chamber is straightforward in Hogwarts Legacy if you follow these steps:

  1. 1. Open the Hogwarts Map.

  2. 2. Look for a monochrome sun-shaped icon floating above the boarding school.

  3. 3. Interact with the icon to view “Secret Rooms.”

  4. 4. Select “The Map Chamber” beneath Floo Flame Locations to fast travel to the doorway of the chamber.

Alternatively, if you wish to take the “scenic route” by physically walking to the Map Chamber, there’s a way to do so from the Bell Tower Courtyard Floo Flame. From this fast travel point, up the stairs on the right and through the door. Go down the stairwell on the left and continue descending past the horse armor area with a hanging “H.” Head down the corridor beside the statue until you reach a storage room with barrels, and follow the stairway on the right to enter the metal gate.

Follow the spiraling staircase downward until you reach the hidden entrance of The Map Chamber in Hogwarts Legacy. This is certainly not the ideal way compared to fast traveling via Floo Flames. Still, you will find the Sleeping Dragon Statue on the way, which is a plus for explorers and collectible hunters.
