Reaching the World Tree Island is the ultimate goal of any Pal hunter seeking fresh content in Palworld 1.0. This magical place used to be locked behind a barrier with nothing to follow before the 1.0 release, and now it’s got its own questline alongside unique legendary items like Radiant Gems and new Pals to add to your collection.
What Do You Need To Get To The World Tree In Palworld 1.0

Upon reaching the entry on the northwest side of the map, you’ll be locked behind a gate that says the area is “shrouded with mysterious energy.” For that, you’ll need to capture a Panthalus to enter the World Tree in Palworld 1.0. That is one of the new legendary Pals added to the game, and there’s actually a certain questline for it.
Now, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve defeated all 5 tower bosses in the main questline of the game and reached and completed the Sunreach Island’s missions and tower. All of this is a part of the main story quest of the game, so if you follow the tasks, you’ll get there eventually.
Once that’s out of the way, you’ll need to travel to a very small island called the Deserted Islet. You’ll find an NPC here called the Ancient Civilization Researcher, who gives you yet another quest to find some items tagged on your map — four Echobones. Deliver them all, and you’ll then need to craft the Echoing Flute using the Faded Schematic they provide.
Next, you’ll be sent to defeat Panthalus. Remember that we need to capture this giant Pal to unlock the World Tree in Palworld 1.0, as it’s the only way there is to reach that area. Exotic Spheres, yes, you’ll also need those.
With Panthalus in your active Pal inventory, interact with the terminal at the World Tree’s gate once more, and you’ll open the doors to this island. You’ll find items like Radiant Gems and Paloxite Ore here only, and there’s actually a new endgame quest and a set of missions to follow on the World Tree section as well. Good Luck.
