Madden 24 is officially out as of August 15th, and with it comes a slew of exciting features. One of the most popular game mechanics of the Madden franchise is the ability to create your own team. However, this isn’t always easy for newcomers. Especially considering how EA tends to change values and mechanics each year! This guide will clearly outline how to get training points fast and easy in Madden 24.

What are Training Points?

Training points were introduced to the Madden franchise a few years ago and have remained a stable of the series ever since. They are exclusive to the Madden Ultimate Team game mode and serve as a method of upgrading your players. Training points can target individual attributes of players, so you can focus on exactly what needs to be improved.

Similarly, the currency can also be used to buy playbooks and uniforms. This is a significantly less practical way of spending your points but is still an option, nonetheless.

The most straight-forward method of obtaining a plethora of training points is by quick-selling players. Each player has a unique overall rating (OVR), which directly correlates with how many points they are worth. The higher the OVR, the higher the sell value. It can be tough to let go of some of the more potent players on your roster, but it is typically worth selling them if they don’t see much play time.

Madden 24 is extremely generous in the rewards it provides for completing challenges. You should never have a shortage of cheap players or items to sell from your binder, so long as you are active in finishing challenges. The process will be slow but remain consistent and your reserve of training points will grow in no time.

Alternatively, Madden 24 has introduced a new feature that allows you to essentially gamble for training points. This comes via an in-store pack called the “Training Shuffle” pack. Each pack costs 295 training points, and can contain anywhere between 100 and 1,000 training points inside. While gambling in gaming is controversial, this feature does allow for some quick and easy training points.

Training Point Conversion

Many Madden fans take it to the next level by “flipping” in-game character cards for a profit. Each player, depending on their OVR, can be bought for coins and sold for training points. If you can find the players in the auction hub with the best conversion rate, you can effectively buy training points in exchange for coins!

Currently, players with an OVR score of 84 will offer the best bang for your buck – as long as they can be purchased for 40,100 or less. Their conversion rate is 59:1, meaning that for every 59 coins of their resell value, you will make a training point! This is pricey, yes, but also convenient and quick.
