“Splendid gems formed when a falling star fell from the sky.”

Undying Starlight is one of Honkai Star Rail‘s Starlight Exchange currencies, which is earned from pulling the game’s gacha system. Spend some standard Star Rail Passes or Special Passes for a Wish at any Warp banners, and you should gain some Undying Starlights. For example, if you pulled Gepard‘s Light Cones from Stellar or Departure Warp, you should acquire Starlights.

Aside from that, Starlights can also be gained every time you get a character duplicate. This works whether you got the duplicates from Warp banners or redeemed them from the Store or System menu. Below is the number of Undying Starlights you will acquire depending on the method and what you pulled:

  • 4-Star Light Cone: Undying Starlight x8
  • 5-Star Light Cone: Undying Starlight x40
  • Duplicate 4-Star Character:
    • Undying Starlight x8, for the second to seventh times you get a duplicate.
    • Undying Starlight x20, for the eight times and beyond.
  • Duplicate 5-Star Character:
    • Undying Starlight x40, for the second to seventh times you get a duplicate.
    • Undying Starlight x100, for eight times and beyond.

If you want to spend your hard-earned Undying Starlights in Honkai Star Rail, simply open the Starlight Exchange Store menu. There, you can trade the Starlights for a number of items, including Star Rail Passes and Light Cones. Therefore, Undying Starlight is a very useful currency that lets you get more Light Cones or featured characters outside of special Warp banners. Save up the currency until you need to unlock a character or obtain a specific Light Cone from the Store.

The table below lists all items and how much they cost in the Starlight Exchange Store.

Item Price
Star Rail Pass 20 Undying Starlights
Star Rail Special Pass 20 Undying Starlights
5-Star Light Cone 600 Undying Starlight
4-Star Character 140 Undying Starlights
