The machine gun Unwavering Duty in Destiny 2 is a high-level Legendary power weapon that can be difficult to get. A fearsome behemoth in PvE, this viable yet elusive weapon can churn through most mobs with ease, making it a highly desired weapon for most players. Unfortunately, it can also be a difficult weapon to obtain if you don’t know the right activities to queue into. We’ll outline the easiest way to pull the Unwavering Duty and its Adept version, so you can get back to what Guardians do best — killing aliens indiscriminately.

The machine gun Unwavering Duty in Destiny 2 is obtainable only from the Trials of Osiris. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that players must play Trials of Osiris to grab this weapon. There are two ways to go about pulling Unwavering Duty: playing and watching.

Players can either complete Trials themselves or watch a streamer on Twitch and react after a completed Trials match. Doing so will give viewers Trials of Osiris reputation. This reputation can then be exchanged at the Tower Cryptarch for a Trials Engram.

Alternatively, players must queue into the Trials of Osiris from the Tower via Saint-14 and complete matches for the Unwavering Duty to drop.

Conversely, the Unwavering Duty Adept has no Twitch-based workaround. In order to get the Adept version of Unwavering Duty, players will need to reach the lighthouse of Trials of Osiris. This will allow them to grab the 7-Win Passage engram, or it may drop outright.

After grabbing the engram, head to Saint-14 in the Tower hangar. Go to his second page, and select Focused Decoding to find the Unwavering Duty machine gun. The Adept version of this machine gun comes with unique perks, which can further sow mayhem among enemy ranks with its Solar class.

If PvP isn’t your ideal space in Destiny 2, don’t fret. The standard version can more than handle business in the vast majority of alien planets. It’s undeniable that the Adept is a stronger version of the power weapon, but that shouldn’t deter Guardians from chasing the normal drop. With a decent magazine and extremely strong roll possibilities for the weapon, Unwavering Duty will shore up any Guardians’ arsenal. Just don’t succumb to space madness in the Trials.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
