If you plan on crafting the fan-favorite Jetpack to traverse the skies or are looking to assemble any of the many rockets and alike featured inย The Planet Crafter, you will need to first find Uranium, which, as you might have guessed, is not an easy feat. However, although the resource can only be found in large quantities in a couple of places, it is surprisingly easy to farm. Here are all of the spots where you find Uranium inย The Planet Crafter, as well as its best farming location.

How to Get Uranium in The Planet Crafter

You can get Uranium in The Planet Crafter by opening crates while exploring the environment, crashed ships, and forgotten settlements. You can also find large quantities of it in the game’s Uranium Caves โ€”located in Gate Desert and The Highlands. Examining the remains of asteroids that hit the planet can also net you a big amount. Although the latter usually happens at random, you can summon meteor showers by using Asteroids Attraction Rockets.

From all of the areas where you can get the material, I found the Uranium Cave located in Gate Desert to be the best farming spot for it. After getting all of the Uranium above the ground in the cave, you will only be able to mine it there by using a T2 Ore Extractor.

You can find the Uranium Cave in The Planet Crafter by heading to the coordinates 587:36:-675. I know the area seems far, but you will be able to reach it quickly from the standard landing spot (located under the coordinates 599:1:633) by first heading east until you reach the Iridium Mine showcased below.

From the mine, turn your attention to the right, more specifically toward the area highlighted in the image below. The area is also known as Aluminum Hills. You will know you reached the area when you find yourself surrounded by greenish rock formations.

Once at Aluminum Hills, simply head to the passage showcased in the image below before going through it and continuing onward until you reach the coordinates 755:30:-60. The passage can be easily recognizable thanks to the blue supply box located in front of it.

Now that you reached the spot indicated above, you will be able to see a series of rock pillars. You will be able to find the shortcut to the cave by heading to the spot highlighted in the image below, which will lead to a narrow path among the canyons.

After crossing the path, you will be able to find the cave by continuing northeast until you spot the Uranium crystals at a distance. You can check out how the cave will look from the outside below.

As always, I recommend that you build a small base โ€”composed of at least one Living Compartment, a Storage Container, and a Craft Stationโ€” at the entrance to the cave. Doing the same when at Aluminum Hills will also not hurt.

You can currently play The Planet Crafter on PC.
