To get Acorn, you must cut Sapwood throughout the entire expanse of Palia. These deciduous trees are common in the Kilima Valley and dominate much of the area, so finding them is not difficult. On the other hand, if you cut down a random tree, you have little chance of getting an Acorn, as you have to meet some requirements:
- First of all, Acorns don’t drop from small trees. You must focus on chopping down medium and large Sapwood trees.
- Based on the previous point, you will need at least a Standard Ax for cutting medium trees or a Fine Ax for large trees.
- The chance of getting Acorn is pretty low, but by chopping down large trees, you will have a better chance of success.
Once you have collected as many Acorns as you need, you can use some of them to complete story quests and decorate your homestead. You will only need a few Acorns for the story quest (for example, Prove Your Devotion), so the bulk of this consumable will be at your disposal. You only need to go to the territory of your home and go to the Furniture mode. Select the Acorn you want and place it in a desired part of your homestead. The good news is that the tree will grow immediately, and you can see your home with new decorations immediately after using the Furniture mode.
To summarize, here’s what you need to know about how to obtain and use Acorn in Palia:
- You can get Acorns by cutting down Sapwood.
- The seedling only drops from medium and large trees.
- You will have to use a Standard Ax or a Fine Ax.
- You can plant Acorn on your homestead.
