In Lego Fortnite, the Brute Scale is one of the most vital items you need to progress in the game. If you had found the Brute Scale before you needed it, you may have questioned its use and what it does. The Brute Scale is required to upgrade your Crafting Bench from Rare to Epic in Lego Fortnite. The Brute Scale is obtained from a creature called Brute, and it can be challenging to find.

There are 3 different types of Brutes in Lego Fortnite: Standard Brute, Sand Brute, and Frost Brute. Each drops different materials and can be found in their own biomes. You can find the Brute you need to get the Brute Scale in the Grasslands biome. However, since Grasslands is a vast biome, looking for one is like looking for a needle in a haystack. To find the Brute relatively easily in Lego Fortnite, use Fortnite’s Visualize Sound Effects setting. If you don’t know this setting, follow the steps below to unlock it.

  1. Follow the steps below to turn on Visualize Sound Effects:
  2. Press “ESC” if you’re in the game, or if you’re in the Lobby, click on your avatar in the top right to go to “Settings.”
  3. Then go to the “Audio” section at the top.
  4. Scroll down a bit, and in the “Sound” section, you will see the “Visualize Sound Effects” setting. Turn this to “On.”

With this setting, you will visually see monsters and other sound indicators from far away on your screen. Even if you can’t hear them, you will see them on your screen. This will make it easier to spot where the Brutes are in Lego Fortnite.

The easiest way to kill the Brute in Lego Fortnite is with a Crossbow. The higher the rarity of the Crossbow you use, the easier it will be for you because you will do more damage. We recommend taking at least 40 to 50 Arrows with you, just in case. The easiest and most painless way to kill the Brute in Lego Fortnite is by simply dodging from a distance and killing it with the Crossbow.

Otherwise, if you catch it by the water, have it run towards you and try to get Brute into the water. The Brute will die as soon as it steps into the water, and you can get your Brute Scale this way with a cheese method in Lego Fortnite.
