How To Get (& Use) Flowberry in Fortnite

I wonder what Flowberry tastes like in real life.

We’ve moved on to Chapter 5, Season 1 in Fortnite, putting the OG Season behind us. With the transition to the new Chapter, many new weapons, cars, and mechanics have been added to the game. One of these new additions is the Flowberry, our sweet little fruit. I’m sure Flowberry won’t get the attention it deserves in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, but I think it’s a great mobility item with the right usage. And even better, it was buffed on Monday, December 4th.

Flowberries can be found in many places in the game, but players, including myself, didn’t prefer to use this item until December 4th. The reason for this was that it was completely pointless to use it because the effect lasted a very short time. In Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1, Flowberry can be found in Chests and as Floor Loot in places like the garden. When you use Flowberry, it creates a splash effect and grants a Low Gravity Status Effect to the user and anyone in the splash area, and also grants 10 Armor to the user.

However, on December 4th, Flowberry was buffed in Fortnite, and the Low Gravity Status Effect, which originally only lasted 5 seconds, now lasts 10 seconds. You can now at least drop yourself from a height or run away from enemies during this time. I highly doubt that it even used to last 5 seconds because it would lose its feature before Flowberry’s animation was over, making it an extremely useless item. But with this change, this item is definitely much more useful. Thanks to Flowberry in Fortnite, you can quickly and easily change position and take advantage. Don’t you dare ignore Flowberry in Fortnite!
