This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Like the Dendro Sigil of Sumeru, Hydro Sigils are one of the multiple “exploration currencies” inย Genshin Impact. As Fontaine is the Hydro Nation, it’s no surprise that its regional Elemental Sigil is linked to its signature element of water. During your initial entry and exploration of the new region, you might naturally obtain a few of these sigils. If you recall, Dendro Sigils were spent at theย Tree of Dreams in Sumeru. Likewise, Hydro Sigils of Fontaine can be offered at a point of interest called the Fountain of Lucine.

The Fountain of Lucine in Genshin Impact is located on the east-central side of Fontaine, outside the Opera Epiclese. You’ll visit this location during the second act in Chapter IV: As Light Rain Falls Without Reason. Alternatively, if you’re in a rush like us to spend your sigils, you can simply travel to the fountain without any restrictions.

The first time you approach the Fountain of Lucine, a brief cutscene will play. This camera pan is followed by text revealing how the Genshin Impact Hydro Sigils you’ve gathered can be exchanged for valuable rewards. Reaching a particular milestone with your offerings will grant you a level-up for the fountain, similar to the Frostbearing Tree or Tree of Dreams.

For each Fountain of Lucine level achieved, you can claim recurring rewards, including Adventure EXP, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. However, the high-rarity goodies that every Traveler will desire will obviously be the Acquaint Fates, Midlander Weapon base materials, Intertwined Fates, and Crowns of Insight.

To farm Hydro Sigils in Genshin Impact, you need to explore the region and perform the following:

  • Open Chests in the open world
  • Offer Hydroculi to Statues of The Seven in Fontaine

Like regions prior, many open-world chests are tied to puzzles, challenges, and groups of enemy mobs that must be defeated. Also, remember that you can dive and swim underwater in Fontaine. The new explorable aquatic areas contain a decent majority of Chests and Hydroculi.

Let’s briefly go over how you can farm Genshin Hydro Sigils and where to spend them:

  1. Discover Chests and collect Hydroculi in Fontaine to get sigils.
  2. Spend your Hydro Sigils at the Fountain of Lucine for rewards.
